{Disarmed} Re: {Disarmed} Re: [Diabetes_And_Byetta] Metformin
It takes some practice to poke trust me…I’ve lived with this disease since
March 2003 and I still flinch when I do it. I think injecting insulin and
Byetta is less painful. I get tiny scabs on my fingers because I can’t get
blood out of my fingers unless my lancet gun is set on deep.

Pam, I still can’t take Metformin in the morning. I guess I just need more
food in my stomach, because it doesn’t bother me at night at all. It’s very
strange. I wonder what’s in these drugs to make us feel so sick?
Also, since I’m just borderline, I don’t have to test anything yet…..do
you guys mean you have to stick that needle in your finger several times a
day? That must be awful after awhile. How often do you have to do it?? Does

I find it a lot easier and less painful to poke blood samples from the
arm…either up near the elbow area or down closer to the wrist but never the
fingers.

OUCH!!!!!!!! I would hate that!
I really feel for little kids who have to go through that……
What do you all feel when your blood sugar gets too high?? I’ve had low blood
sugar for many years and I would feel light headed, dizzy and foggy……..

Medicare cover that machine, whatever it’s called.
