<description>i get burps after the shot...........baz

Yes I have hicupps of sorts. About 20 minutes after I take the shot, I hiccup
hard two or three times. I just take it as a signal that the juice is working.
As for the nausea, I had some at first, not so much now. I have taken Byetta
since September. Have you tried the wrist bands? Also try ginger tables from the
health foods store--there is evidence that this helps with motion sickness.
Gingerale works too.

DWheat

Also, does the nausea ever come to an end? I've tried all the tricks
that people pass along to me and none work. The nausea is not always
the same, some times are much worse than others with no discernable
pattern to it, but I am nauseated every day. Also headaches,
&lt;!--more--&gt;
jitteryness and that yucky swirly headache/stomachy thing...

Glad to have found ya'll!

		<description>Hi Jenny!

Oh wow! That is fantastic news about your A1c! I was at 14 in
September and my last visit to the endo it was... are you ready for
this... 6! Couldn't be happier about that!

And 32 pounds! OMG! Great great great for you, my new hero! I've
only lost about 7 so far, but I'm confident! LOL

I know what you mean about the quasi-vomitting. Gross, eh? I feel
like I'm constantly in a battle of should I go ahead and kneel, or
should I just see if it will pass! Makes work very difficult. And
just in reading the posts last night I realize, again duh, that my
new thing of being a &#34;cold person&#34; as opposed to my normal hotness
is actually a side effect of the Byetta! I just switched offices at
&lt;!--more--&gt;
work right around the time I started Byetta and figured my new state
of being cold allllll the time was because it is so much colder in
there than my old office. It didn't dawn on me it was the Byetta!
Duh. Wonder if my grouchiness can be blamed on Byetta too? Maybe I
can even get away with blaming my overspending and obsession with
new purses on Byetta also! LOL

Anyway, congrats again on all your success! That is fantastic!

		<description>Hi DWheat!

I just read about the wristbands last night, so I haven't tried them
yet, but will definitely look into it. I've tried mint, but not
ginger. Duh. I take ginger capsules before going on cruises to
prevent seasickness, not sure why I didn't think about that! I think
I might even have some in the bathroom....

Thanks!

<description>I am curious as to if anyone else has experienced frequent hiccups
after beginning Byetta? Right from the start of taking Byetta (this is
my 4th month) I've noticed that I get frequent bouts of hiccups and
more frequent burping! The hiccups don't last for more than a few
moments, but they are almost violent! Very loud and long per hiccup.
Odd, I know. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same
experience...

Also, does the nausea ever come to an end? I've tried all the tricks
