It depends on the individual and some of the other medications one takes with Byetta. My doctor indicated that with some people taking oral medications and Byetta, they are often token off the oral medications or having the oral medications reduced. Supposedly there are more known long term side effects with some of the oral meds than there is with Byetta. I am for that.... Jim Hughes Talk to your doctor.
