		<description>Is there any way that you could have a fanny pack with some fig newtons or
some other carb snack? Alternatively you could carry the glucose tabs that
contain 15 grams of carb per tablet. I would DEFINATELY let someone who
will be walking with you the signs of low blood sugar and how to help you if
the need should arise.

_____

I am going on a 5 mile hike with a group of Scouts. Until recently my blood
sugar has been high. I changed when I take my glyburide and now it is better
during the day. The last few days I have been walking to prepare for the
hike. After about a mile or so my blood sugar is down to 75. I will still
have 3 plus miles to go. Does anyone have any ideas on how to eat and what
&lt;!--more--&gt;
to eat to stabilize it but not get high blood sugar?
