		<description>Penny,

Why are you so argumentative....I think if you would do some research on
your own instead of just swallowing everything hook line and sinker that
your dr. tells you, you will see that i am correct on this. I may not be
correct on a lot, but on this i am. Also, I was not saying that one day
above 100 is going to cause you to have neuropathy....but it IS a
progressive disease and the more days you are over that, that more damage
that accumulates.

I hate to be in disagreement again but if you check with your dietician,
&lt;!--more--&gt;
endocrinologist or regular doctor they will tell you there is not problem if
it is over 100 but below 120. Let us not get hysterical. I have gotten
really dizzy at 75 and at 67 my doctor even told me that was TOO LOW. But
then that's my body but I doubt anyone is going to get neuropathy at 110.
That is why it's the A1C that matters to the doctor most times. Of course
if suddenly Iwent to 200 I would then worry about damage in the future.
Remember it is a slow progressive disease. One day is not going to make me
obsessive about weight.

My dietician told me I could only have 4 oz of fish or meat, and I try to
keep to that. I do have half a cup of Dreamfields pasta, I have egg
beaters, sometimes I eat the real thing with tomatoes. I have broiled
bluefish with yes, a mashed potato and I also have chicken a few times a
week. I have English Muffins, 7 grain bread and some hummus with garden
veggies in it. I have fruit yogurt if I need a desert and yes it is low
carb, 16. I also like grilled cheese sandwiches with cabot cheese, 50/%
fat free.

Sometimes I do have red meat and sometimes junk like a hot dog. I live
close enough to the Met's farm team in Brooklyn and once a year I go to a
game. This is the first year though I will go as a diabetic. Diagnosed.
