<description>thanks for your advice.....it is really appreciated when someone acknowledges
your question.....................................baz

_____

i need some advice. i have been on the byetta for a week and so far
everything is going ok. i am very apprehensive of going out or to a party
taking the byetta. if i take my shot at 12 noon and eat by 1 o'clock, i
cannot take another shot until 6pm and need to eat by 7pm. is that correct?
now saturday we are going out for lunch. i plan to take the byetta with me.
i'll take the shot at the restaurant when we order and will eat with in an
hour. we plan on meeting at 12:30 pm. than in the late afternoon we are
invited to a picnic. food served about 4 or 5 pm. but i won't be able to
&lt;!--more--&gt;
take shot intil 5:30 or later. should i not take the evening shot and take
my chances?....... i do not get up early in the morning, so 10 am i take my
pills and 12 noon the shot.........i hope i am explaining myself correctly.
i am not sure how to work this and am considering not going out. how do you
people who travel a lot or eat at different times, handle
this?.................thanks for your
patience.......................................baz

		<description>thanks for replying, melodie......................baz

This is where the planning comes in. Take your first shot with your FIRST MEAL
OF THE DAY.

If your next meal (in this case) the picnic is not six hours later, then plan
for a small snack at say 8p. or something close to that. I think a number of
folks have said to not eat for an hour before you take the shot.

Some others may have better information.

<description>What i would do is take your 2nd byetta when you get home then have a snack
within the hour before you go to bed. Make sure the snack has both carb and
protein.
