Headaches
Anyone getting headaches from Byetta? I am just starting to use it at
5mcg dose. I have been on it about a week now. I am taking it about
one hour before I eat and have no other symptoms other than a mild
headache. It seems to be working to control my BG levels well.
Hopefully, the 10mcg will do even better. However, I hope the
headaches will not increase in intensity. Hopefully, the headaches
will go away.

*Jim: The only side effects I have ever had from Byetta were headaches and
uncontrollable chills. The headaches gradually went away toward the end of
my first month of Byetta (5) and did not come back when I switched to the 10
my second month. I did get about 50% relief from the headache by taking
two advil about 20 minutes before my injection.*

i seem to get a mild headache with the byetta, too. but then again it could be
allergies….baz

i’ve gotten some headaches about 2 a week and i’ve been on byetta for
3wks now. Hmmm..i never thought of related the headaches to byetta. I
rarely get headaches so these were noticeable for me..guess i’ll keep
better track.

Maybe you get too hungry before you eat? I got headaches when I
waited an hour ater my shot to eat so now I take my shot about 20-30
minutes before I eat….
