oranges

Someone posted a couple of days ago ‘an orange a day keeps diabetes
away’. I’ve never heard this before so found it interesting and it
made me wonder..does a grapefruit have the same effect as an orange?
I generally eat 1/2 a grapefruit and wheat toast for breakfast every
morning.

I guess I really SHOULD get in for nutritional counseling!

Thanks,

Sherrill

    Just be aware of this:

I have seen no medical reports on this. However, the sugar in oranges
is still sugar. My doctor still recommends that I have my fruit each
day and leave the other sugars alone. And people who take some blood
    pressure meds can’t eat greapefruit.

Sorry, that should be cholesterol medications. I can’t eat grapefruit
because it creates a problem with cholesterol meds.

Has anyone experience a weight GAIN while using Byetta?
