MY DOCTOR I AM JUST TAKING THE SHOT NO PILLS LOST ABOUT 50 POUND BEEN
ON IT ALMOST A YEAR ONE DR TOLD ME SHE WANTS ME ON A PILLTO ANOTHER
SAYS NO ANY ONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS

    Hello, More info is needed to give a rational reply.

    Could you tell us what your BGs are running and HGaC results?

    Why would the doc feel you need more medication? I assume this would be
    in addition to the Byetta?

    Type 2 is progressive and many of us are on several meds in addition to
    the Byetta.

    I take 2000mg of MetforminER, and Starlix along with Byetta 10,twice a
    day.

    Hello Minismel, You could up your exercise and diet if you are set
    against pills.

    Of all the meds the doc could give you Metformin addresses insulin
    resistance without weight gain( although very rarely a person gains on
    it)

    HAS ANYBODY EVER TAKEN GLIPZIDE 10 MG BEFORE IT MADE ME SO SICK I WAS
    IN ABULANCE TO HOSPITAL
