Refrigeration and Byetta

Effective Feb 11, 2007 you do not have to refrigerate your Byetta pen AFTER
you start using it. You should keep it refrigerated until your first use.
You must keep it below 77 degrees F.

I plan to keep mine refrigerated except when it is inconvenient to do so.
Living in the Houston area, leaving it out most of the year is not an
option.

    Hello Nita, Thanks for the updated info.

    Same as you, it won’t apply much to me living here in Hawaii but I’ll
    feel more relaxed about keeping it chilled in a cooler without the rigid
    temp requirement.

    I am in Texas too and feel that it would be best to make it a habit to
    refrigerate. That way, it will be so automatic that I won’t have to
    remind myself to refrigerate in summer!
