Grapefruit and Byetta

I am beginning to think that grapefruit was what has been causing my lows.
I think it must do what it does with some of the blood pressure medicine and
make them more effective. I do know that the effects of grapefruit can stay
in your system for over 48 hours hours. So the days I was eating grapefruit
and the next day I would have the lows. I imagine most people here are on
BP meds and don’t eat grapefruit so I think it would be pointless to ask if
anyone else has had the same problem. Just thought I would toss this out.
I have quit eating the grapefruit and quit having the lows - at least for
now.

I am not on any BP meds, and I do eat grapefruit. I have not experienced any
lows due to this. If I thought it would bring my a.m. fasting down, I would
definately eat it before bedtime. Lanie

I am not on BP meds either. I actually bought some. I was thinking of
trying it with some spelenda in the evening to see if it causes some lows to
birng my am numbers down. Maybe that was dumb but hey if it gets too low I
    can always stop.

Thank you for your feedback. It may be that it is merely coincidental and
it is no causing the lows. It also could be that I am just now adjusting to
the change to the ten because the lows are less frequent.

Another thing we are all different and what happen with one person might not
    happen for another person
