Problems with Week One of Increasing to 10 mcg Byetta

Have others had unexpected problems making this leap? I expected some
increase in the minor nausea I experienced with the 5 mcg dosage, but
not the occasionally debilitating nause–not to mention extreme
diarrhea. Have others lost bowel control?

I wonder if any of you have used plain yogurt with your meals or
between. Small amounts have helped me with very mild nausea.

I just started my 10 a few days ago and haven’t had any increase in
nausea, to my surprise. However, I’ve had the complete opposite of
diarrhea. I’ve been taking fiber supplements and drinking tons of
water and nothing. Metformin gives me the same side affect, and now
the two combined is making things uncomfortable. Sorry if that is TMI
    lol.

I kicked up to 10 and had to go back. The ONLY side effect I’ve had
with Byetta from day one is bad sinus. It never gets better, within
minutes of taking a shot I get a bad sinus headache and my sinuses
just close off. This was doubled when I went to 10. I am trying to
stick with 5 because the medicine is working great for me.

I’ve been on Byetta for my second month using the 10mg. I think I’m throwing in
the towel. Between the nausea and the boughts of diarrhea I never feel all that
good. My numbers are better, weight is down, but I don’t feel like going
anywhere due to the unpredictable diarrhea. I’ve never experience such gas pains
and such explosive diarrhea. If I knew what sparked it I’d be prepared. No
knowing makes me hesitant to eat anything different or go anywhere where I’m not
    sure where the bathrooms are.
