Questions and thoughts
I am sorry that I said that there is no such thing as Pre-diabetes. I guess I
was uninformed. I think it sounds like being a little pregnant. You need to
take care of yourself whatever you call your condition. I hope that calling it
that does not change insurance. I was insulin resistant and diet and exercise
controlled for several years. Then my bs skyrocketed. I went on very strict
diet. I lost weight (60 lbs.). I am still having problems getting it under
complete control. Diet is not having the same affect as before. I am still
trying. I had a surprise pregnancy. My son was born right after Christmas in
2005. I am working out at home and not at the gym like I used to. But overall
thing are getting better with Byetta and as I continue learning.
People ask about weight loss and appetite control. I found that if I eat a high
carb breakfast then I crave carbs all day. If I eat a breakfast with protein
then I feel better and I don’t have the cravings. It works for me. I think
that byetta is an aid to losing weight not a magic medicine. My goal for is to
eat well and exercise as if I have no Byetta and increase my health and
wellness. I want the byetta to increase my wellness not be responsible for it.
What kinds of things do you do to increase your health? What kinds of exercise
do you enjoy?
People talk about needle reuse. I guess you are free to do what you wish. But,
I think that you can reinfect yourself and make yourself sick. My needles are
kept on the fridge and my byetta in the fridge. If I inject myself and then put
the needle on the fridge where it is warm the germs could grow and then I would
have something different and infect myself not a good idea. I don’t know if I
am wrong. I would love to know if anyone with a medical background could
explain it I would love to know.
