Meds and Byetta - Info from the helpline
After reading other’s opinions, I decided to call the source and get
some information. Advice from Jamie ( a helathcare professional) at
the Byetta helpline: Clinical trials were conducted involving numerous
classes of drugs. In their expeience, it is okay to take other meds
and/or supplements along with your shot except for: steroids, birth
control, pain killers, pain medication, and antibiotics.

Wow, that is a lot of various drugs! At this time I am not on any of those,
except for the occasional OTC pain med. But antibiotics, that worries me.

What happens if you take one of those other drugs with byetta. I know that when
I was on pain killers it made me throw them back up.
