Marge!

I thought I was just weird! Thanks for saying that....Sometimes when I'm
eating I feel like one more bite will do me in. If I go ahead and eat
it...just that 1 bite....I'm sick all night!

I thought I was just imagining it!

Demetria-Beth

Hello Robin, I can't tolerate fats either and if I overeat, I pay dearly
for it by feeling sick all night.

When I say "overeat", it doeasn't mean the same as pre-Byetta days. A
few extra bites can do it now and the nausea that can come really makes
<!--more-->
me think twice before I eat.

Aloha, marge

Marge,

That's what I'm talking about! When I first started on Byetta, I could tell
from one bite to the next when I'd had too much.the ol' gag reflex wound
kick in. Now I can tell by the way I feel when it's time to stop. I may not
feel full at that moment, but within a few minutes I feel comfortably full.

Hey Robin

When I talked to my Endo about the nausea and vomiting he asked me if I was
eating high fat foods as well as overeating. I've heard others here talk about
it too so I don't think it's a surprise that it effects you that way too. I
think it's more of a surprise your DR hadn't heard it before. ;-)

Hello, All!

I had a 3 month check up yesterday, and got a strange comment from the Doc.
I was told that I was down 7 more pounds (for a total of 17 over the last 6
months) and was told my blood sugar readings were "amazing". Then I was
asked if I was having problems with nausea or vomiting. I said that I only
had nausea if I waited longer than 40 minutes after taking my Byetta to eat
or if I overate or had too many greasy or high fat foods. The Dr. said that
<!--more-->
I was the first of his patients to say that about overeating or the fatty
foods. Does any one else have these problems with food, or am I just
strange? (By the way.the nausea has been a GREAT deterrent to overeating and
my diet is low fat now!)

I don't have any effects at all from it if I overeat or eat too much fatty
foods--except for possible weight gain! Nothing I eat or do with Byetta gives
me nausea or other side effects. Of the 42 pounds I lost on Byetta, I have
kept off 41 for a year. I am going to take off the one pound that came back
and lose more now that the holidays are over. Janet

Hi Robin
If I overeat or eat greasy foods etc, I am gonna have problems.
I get sick as a dog. It's awful. So you are not alone in that respect.
Yes, the nausea does help in the losing of weight...I've lost 40 lbs.
Yeah.

Yes, I take CoQ10, but not regularly. It is quite expensive, and I can't afford
to take it on a daily basis. I know that sometimes, I have bouts of my heart
skipping beats, or a feeling of having heart palps. It is during these times I
take the CoQ, and I immediately see an improvement. Also, there are CoQ Melts.
These can be chewed or melted in the mouth. They are more easily assimilated in
the blood stream. Hope this helps. Lanie

Do any of you use Coenzyme Q10?
