New to group- need info on any side effects

Hi
New to group…. Long story short….DiabeticII since December 2003,
under control until October 2005 when I had major surgery to remove 10
pound Uterine Tumor and complete Hysterectomy. Major depression,
hormone problems and diabetic #’s are out of control. Starting
Byetta on 12/27 as part of an active change and trying to help with
serious weight gain and more. What are the side effects are you
experiencing. I also take N and R insulin…
Any info appreciated.

    What are the side effects are you
    experiencing.

    I have been on Byetta for about 8 months and I have no side effects at
    all–just good effects! Blood sugar is under control, A1C is 5.4, have lost 42
    pounds and kept it off. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. Janet
