		<description>Hi Janie,

I wonder if they are just saying there is a difference and there really
is not a difference? Has anyone else on the list taken double shots of
5 and have gotten the same results as just 1 shot of 10?

		<description>Hi, Dale. I used to use the 5 pen Byetta 3 times each day, for about 4
months, (I'm down to 1 shot a day now.. yea! :), and I had no problem with
my insurance. I have Tricare. And my supplemental insurance paid the $9.00
that Tricare didn't cover. Hope this helps.

Cheryl from Florida

I remember being told that there is a difference in taking the 10 pen
one injection and 2 injections of 5 pen. Even though it seems 2
five's would be 10. It is not the same thing. I also know someone who
has increased their byetta to 3 times a day with the doctor's
permission. The problem with this I think they said was with the
insurance companies. I do not believe they would pay for the extra
dosage of byetta, so this would be an added expense by the user.

&lt;!--more--&gt;
If someone does use the byetta 3 times a day and insurance is covering
all dosages please let us know on the list.

Dale
