Hello and some questions
I am thinking about starting byetta and have been wondering a few things. I am
a 911 dispatcher who works nights 3 nights a week and 2nds the other doing 10
hour shifts. My eating schedule is wild, one reason why I have trouble
controlling my sugar. Do any of you know it I will be able to work byetta into
my schedule and it still work properly. On my days off I eat regularly but my
work days I might eat breakfast at 1 pm and dinner is around 2 am….

Hi there!
I work 2ns shift and my meals tend to be at all different times. Byetta has
been working well for me!!! I had to stay on the 5 pen though becasue the 10
pen was making me so sick!!! My numbers were so high before and now they are
great. I am also on lantus at night too and Glucophage.

I would talk with your dr and a dietician. but since you take it within an
hour of eating your first and last meal I would not think it would matter
what time those were. I would ask your dr. to make sure.

Thanks Amy That is my one worry. I don’t go back to the Dr till after
Christmas and that is one questions swirling through my head.
