Sinus Problems
As I mentioned before, the only problem I’ve had with Byetta is sinus
headaches.
I now have a full blown sinus infection, has anyone else had problems
and do you think Byetta could have caused this?

Is it possible that it could have been just plain coincidence? I doubt that
Byetta would lead to an actual infection, so maybe it was lingering and it just
happened to start doing it’s dirty work when you started the lizard. I have
sinus issues, LONG before Byetta. In fact, it was a sinus infection, along with
my denial phase, that nearly killed me. My infection lingered for 4 years,
never fully going away. I spent 4 days on IV antibiotics and another 3 weeks on
orals after getting out. The infection ate a hole through my sinus wall. I had
sinus surgery about a month after I got out of the hospital. With bad sinuses
to begin with, Byetta has not given me any problems at all. In fact, I’ve been
very fortunate the past year to not have gotten sick like I always do. Right
now is the closest I have been to sick, and all it is is just a little bit
"snottier" (sorry to sound like a 5 year old) and a little pain, which usually
goes away with a few spritzes of saline
nasal spray and a good nose-blowing.
