		<description>Lisa,
I have the same itchy welts...in my belly so my doctor said to inject in my
thigh for a few days...we shall see...it was my 3rd 10mg pen.
alice

First three weeks, no problem. After that? Gnawing pain in stomach. I have
ulcers, and it seemed to aggravate them. Then, two weeks ago I got a rash and
welts on my left thigh. Itched like crazy and broke out in little raised bumps.
Afterwards, I started with the nausea and vomiting. It would happen like every
other day, usually after the AM dose. The PM dose I did fine with, but not the
morning. It was brutal.

As of today, my doc has put me back on 5mg pen twice per day, and 1000 of
Metformin again. Hey, I've lost 20 pounds total since I was diagnosed, and I
wish I could tolerate the 10mg pen, but it seems to be messing with me.
&lt;!--more--&gt;

If anyone else has had similar issues--it seems, just from the latest posts,
that many have--or have had my problems, but the nausea and itching has gone
away, please tell me what you did to ride it out.

I hope everyone is doing well. I noticed that since I started working onsite
again, my eating habits are not what they have been over the past few months. It
was easier to watch my diet, when I was working from home.

Thanks for letting me vent!
