		<description>Rae,

I've just started Byetta and I'm curious about your post. When your A1C was
7.1, were you on the Metformin? And when your A1C was 7.6, were you on just
the Byetta without the Metformin?

I'm asking because what I've read about Byetta says you still have to take
something else with it, and I'm wondering if that's why your A1C went up
instead of down.

Also, are you using the extended release Metformin? For me it made a huge
difference in the diaharrea issue.

I also answered your post because my younger sister's name is Rae, and it's
not something I see very often.
&lt;!--more--&gt;

Have a great weekend!
