How long
Hello.
I just started Byetta at usual 5ug.
I have questions. How long one injection is active in a body, how long does it
take to excrete it from a body?

I am wondering how long it took any of you all to notice a drop in your BS after
starting. I guess I am expecting miricales with only starting Tues on the 5
but I am curious as to how long it has taken for a notice of dropping in them.

It’s been 4 months and mine still hasn’t dropped dramatically. Some days it’s
actually higher! I’m on 5 mg and will be switching to 10 mg soon. I’ve put
that off until our family vacation is behind us because I had such nausea
problems.

Glucovance worked for me to bring my morning numbers down - but my diarrhea
side effects that are supposed to stop after two weeks never stopped and I
had to quit taking. I’m sending a separate post with an update.

Thanks everyone after i posted this, I noticed a good drop of my BS it went
to above 200 to below it and has been staying under that. Which is great
