Drug side effects, was: Byetta and Psychotropics
Hi Ruby,
Byetta effects everyone differently: some have horrible nausea at first,
some have very mild nausea, others just feel full. The only way to find out how
any drug’s potential side effects will affect you is to try it.
Metformin gave me horrible gastro side effects, both the quick release and
the XR… and I tried for months with every remedy known to mankind, including
yogurt.
Byetta, on the other hand, doesn’t cause me any gastro trouble except for an
occasional sour stomach. I feel full most of the time, and food just isn’t
appealing which is a HUGE plus for me! You know how you just don’t even want
to look at food after you’ve finished Thanksgiving dinner? That’s how Byetta
works for me.
