?? regarding starting back on byetta
Well, my last 10 mg shot was Thursday nite…my mail in pharmacy did not have my
byetta in stock (I sent my script in over a month ago). I called and they told
me that it should be available soon. Well it came this afternoon in the mail.
Soooooo….. I am wondering has anyone had to restart their meds again. At
least that’s waht I feel like.. it will be 5 days without the lizard..no stomach
problems and I am so dreading it, but my numbers are high.

I had the same problem and dreaded the firs 10mcg dose after the gap…and
had no problems whatsoever. I hope it works as nicely for you.

I haven’t had to restart Byetta so I can’t help you there. But do hang in there.

nausea. My fingers are crossed that this time it will be gone.

If you have trouble, call your doc and ask for an Rx for the 5 mcg pen, and
start over. He’ll know how to word it so your insurance will cover.

I did think of that and wondered…he will just be mad that I have been off of
it, but i have been taking my glucophage…I take 1500 a day with my byetta.

Your doctor is YOUR EMPLOYEE…he works FOR YOU. I’d bag a doc that got mad
at me for anything, but especially a mail order pharmacy snafu. He probably
has coupons for a free 5mcg pen…your pharmacist might, too. I froze a pen
and called the pharmacy to ask what to do and they said every Byetta patient
gets one free ‘emergency’ pen, but my pharmacy was out of the coupons so I had
to call the 800 number and they put the coupon in the mail the next day.
