Fwd: [Diabetes_And_Byetta] Nausea duration???

Brian,

There is no way for anyone to know how you will react to the byetta. I
got a little nausea after dinner. Nothing that a pepcid couldn’t help.
There are some that was sick for a long time. I noticed also, if you
over eat, you seemed to get the nausea more. Also, there are tips on
the home page that the list users have posted suggestions for the side
effects of byetta.

Good luck.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. First though a thank you to
Andrew for inviting me, I’ve looked for a Byetta group before and never
found anything. I’ve been on Byetta for two months now, Started the
10pen the beginning of the month. I also take 4mg of Avandia, 1000mg of
Metoformin, 10mg of Glipzide twice a day. My numbers have been
excellent. 80-120 most anytime I check now. Took a while for my fasting
numbers to go down. I was diagnosed in Sept of 2001. I’m 35 and live in
Ohio. I still have a bit of nausea, nothing to bad that I’ve had to
take something for it. My stomach usually always feels full, I hate
that sometimes..lol But again I can live with it. One question I do
have for all of ya is do any of you get headaches? I have read it could
be a side effect on a few meds I take. Not sure. Nice to meet all of
    you:)

    Hi Brandy and welcome.

I have had more headaches than normal with the Byetta, they are pretty mild
though. But I also get nauseated a lot too. Sometimes I wonder if the
headaches are just from not eating enough?!

Thank you all for your feedback on nausea. Dale, you mentioned
    some good
info on the list’s home page. How do I access the home page,
    please?
