Walmart to offer generic drugs at cheaper prices

I heard on the news today that Walmart is going to offer some generic
drugs at really cheap prices. Thought I would put that out there for

    Target is going to match it also - It will work with
    people WITH health insurance also from what I read.
    $4 for some generic meds. They can’t do that for
    long. But maybe for some generics they can. I know
    the generic for Zyloprim is about $5 a month at most
    pharmacies.

    I also heard this and that Metformin was one of the drugs they would offer for
    $4. I am thinking $4 a month is cheaper than my $20 co-pay for a 3-month supply
    thru Medco. Any money that can be saved on RX’s is a blessing!

    There are only two things on there that would help me.
    Allopurinol and Folic Acid. But I have to get my
    meds at Medco (anything that I use long term) so it
    might not help me at all. Thanks for the listing
