snack

i have found a snack that i think is pretty decent. i
find that with my byetta, i need something slightly
carby to offset the nausea and kickstart the drug. i
think this is fairly good and not TOO carby. it is
from walmart. it is called Sam’s Choice Nature Trail.
it contains roasted soybeans, pepitas, raisins ( i
pick those out. don’t like em, no sir i don’t)almonds,
and cherries. it has per 1/4 cup 150 calories and 10
carbs with 5 grams fiber. so a net of 5 gms carbs. i
don’t eat a lot of it, but i am not a breakfast eater,
so i have been eating a serving of this with my byetta
in the morning.

    4 oz of skim milk in the evening does it for me. I find I don’t need to snack
    during the day. I tend ti hypo a little in the evenings and the little glass of
    milk takes care of it and keeps me steady.
