there have been several people reaporting unexpected
highs lasting as much as a week or so.
as far as feeling bad at 90, if your body was used to
a high bloodsugar, then normal feels low. been there
done that.<grin>
If your doctor insists on putting you on insulin, ask
him about levemir. it has not been reported to cause
weight gain.
as far as our nausea with the higher dose, you went
out to eat right. overeating or even eating some foods
can cause nause. tomatoes did it to me. in any form.
good luck and if you have any further questions, just
ask

yes! i can relate. just when i think i have the meds figured out and am stable
with my BGS
they go down. or up. or whatever. i give up! i have no idea whats going on! i
hit 56
yesterday. so once more playing with my drugs. yes my Doc knows about it! he
feels i have
enough knowledge to do so.
as to the feeling bad under a certain BG level, no IMHO its NOT in your head and
NOT BS!
you'r body gets used to a certain level depending on what your BGS are at
normally. if they
are high, the level is higher. for instance, below 120 i used to feel sick as a
dog. now, its
about 90-100 and i have to use all my control not to go eat a mouthful of
somthing to
<!--more-->
raise it a few degrees. once your body gets used to lower BGS as a rule, you'll
feel better at
a lower number. hang in there.
