I stopped taking byetta for 2 days. I did not think byetta was keeping
my appetite down. When I went off the byetta, I noticed I ate more.
I am back on byetta now. I am not losing weight, but I am not gaining
weight.
I would agree with stopping the reglan. Reglan is suppose to help your
stomach empty quicker. Byetta slows it down. I think that is why you
get nausea on the byetta. Last year my gastro doctor thought I had
gastroparesis. He gave me reglan. It helped with my nausea. It
turned out to be my gallbladder. I had it taken out. I actually went
for the gastric emptying study test and it turned out good. I would
think that the reglan is helping the stomach empty and the byetta is
trying to slow it down. Makes sense to me.
My doctor had told me that feeling full on byetta could go away too.
But it is worth the try stopping the reglan.

Yeh, it did it for about 3 months for me then went away.but I get nausea
EVERY time I inject.
