Diane, "how do you describe more than normal bruising"? I’ve had some
minor bruising, but I guess this is subjective. <s>

    Hi Janie,
I bruise every time I inject into my stomach… the doctor said the stomach is
the best for absorbtion of the Byetta… maybe I need to change sites… or
maybe I’m doing something else wrong, I leave the needle in and count to 10….

Diane, are you rotating the injection sites? Using a new needle each
    time? A short needle?

Sometimes I get bruising from Stomach injections, but NOTHING like the BIG
bruises I got with Lantus - and they would take weeks to go away, turning
from silver-dollar-sized nasty blue spots to green to yellow. And they HURT,
    too.
