Endo appointment
Hi
I had my 3 months appointment with the endo today. I was so shock to
get good news today.
I have lost a total of 20lbs in the 3 months. And my H1ac went from
8.9 to 6.8 but she wants me under 6.5 by the time i see her in October.
My blood pressure and Clostriol was all in the normal ranges. But she
didnt take me off of any meds. She said she still wants protection
against having a heart attack.
She also once again mention the gastric by pass. And i told her that
is a goal that i have to encourage me to loose the weight on my own
without the surgery. I just keep saying to my self if i dont loose
the weight i will have to have surgery. And i dont want that.
I see the dietian in July and monthly until the weight totally comes
off. Which is another 100lbs to go.
My husband is very proud of me. I do get down alot when the scale
doesnt move. And i want to eat and eat the wrong stuff. But i am
going to stay on the right track.
I am just so happy that i was skipping out of the office today. I did
so well she moved my appointment to 4 months instead of 3.

Pat, this is great news! And so hopeful!
I also tend to dump on myself when the scale doesn’t move downward. But
then I tell myself that I’ve carried this tonnage for a long time,
decades, and it’ll come off in due time. I hit a plateau where the
weight loss slowed, but now seems to be heading downward again.
