<description>Ahh, then the other Elaine is the one who has an interest in legal things. I
was wondering why hypnotherapist Elaine was interested in law school. The light
(flash!) is beginning to dawn. (SMILES)

I think I finally have it, by George!

Wow - two super Elaine's on the same list.

Cheers!

<description>Ahhh, Lanie! There you are. :) Okay, gotcha.

Marsha

There are two Elaines. The other Elaine signs Elaine, (TN). I just sign,
Elaine. I am the one who is the Hypnotherapist. Perhaps from now on, I will
sign, Lanie. I am called that by close friends, and I feel the list
members are my close friends. LANIE</description>

		<description>Yes Marsha,

Do we have two Elaines on the list? Just curious... Marsha

You could also just try ginger capsules. I do. I take two at the time of
injection. I seems to take the edge off. Elaine

<description>Ahh, so - I must have missed that. I take it Elaine (TN) is &#34;my&#34; Elaine, the
hypnotherapsist? :) The email address looks right.

<description>Martha - yeah there are two of us. I noticed that right away and
started putting (TN) on the end of my name to distinquish between the
two of us. Just never had so many &#34;Elaine&#34;s on the board at one time!

		<description>Elaine,

Did you try taking your injection right before eating as a way to deal with the
nausea or is that not working? I did that at first, but since I don't get
nauseated I no longer worry about the inject/eat correlation. Hope the ginger
ale helps! I love ginger, but I am more interested in the candied stuff that I
can't have.

		<description>Rebecca,
Thanks so much for the correction in the recipe. I just started the
10 mcg pen and the extra bad nausea has started up again (another
week of hell, I guess) however, this too shall pass...
I'm hoping to have a better time of it this time since I have the
group with all the good ideas to combat the nausea.
Thanks again!

		<description>Natural Ginger Ale

1 teaspoon fresh ginger rhizome, thinly sliced
(or half a teaspoon powdered ginger)
1 teaspoon red raspberry leaves
3 cups water
1 cup carbonated water
1 lemon slice

Bring the herbs and plain water to a boil, then turn the heat down and
simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and steep an additional 10 minutes.
Strain out herbs. Add carbonated water and lemon just before serving. Drink
as much as desired.

Here is another recipe. From recipesource.com. Mind you it uses honey but I
bet you could substitute
Title: Homemade Ginger Ale
Categories: Beverages
Yield: 4 servings

2 T Fresh ginger root
2 Lemon rinds
4 T Honey, to taste
1 c Boiling water
1 qt Seltzer

From &#34;Nancy Clark's Sports Nutrition Cookbook,&#34; Nancy Clark. Leisure
Press, 1990, $13.95.

Put the ginger and lemon rinds in a small bowl with the honey.

Pour in 1 cup boiling water (or just enough to cover). Let steep for
five minutes.

Strain and chill. When ready to serve, add the seltzer water.

Makes 4 servings (10 ounces each).

One serving contains 65 calories and 16 grams of carbohydrates.
