Hi there.. My name is Becca. I dont think I have intro’d before. So here
goes…I am a sahm to nine children full time. They range in age from 5-15. 6
girls 3 boys. I am a type 2 diabetic (I think).. I was diagnosed March 13, 2005.
It has been an uphill battle as all of you know. I started on Byetta two weeks
ago. I am soooooo sick. My blood sugars are MUCHO better. But I spend most of my
mornings getting sick. I don’t just get nauseaus. I get SICK! And it rarely
happens in the evenings. I am wondering how long this will last. I have spent so
much time being sick over the past year. UGH! I am hoping I will be healthy at
some point. LOL! I am also taking Metformin 2000 mg and Armour Thyroid 1/2 gr.
daily. I am on a sliding scale with insulin. (If my sugar goes too high I take a
shot) I am pretty frustrated at this point. Summer is coming and the kids will
be out of school I can’t imagine being sick all day while they are all home. Any
advice? I wait 15 minutes after taking the injection to eat. And I eat lightly.
What do you all eat after taking the injection??? Thanks for listening!!

    Hi Becca,
My name is Annie. i just wanted to tell you to hang
in there it does get better. i think anyone on the
list will tell you that i have probably had the worst
time with the spit. for 5 solid months i threw up
twice a day. but things have finally gotten better. my
numbers are great and i havan’t thrown up in 2 weeks
now. ginger tea helped me. or chewing on a bit of
ginger. i also really limit my amounts of food. Good
luck and know it WILL get better
