Dunno yet - haven't had a chance to install.

_____

How is this software different from the software available on the website
(which is OneTouch(r) Diabetes Management Software v.2.3)? It is intended
for
doctors' offices?

I have a question: I just injected it closer to my umbilicus than I
had ever previously gotten. I cannot believe how much it hurt! It
still hurts, in fact. Does anyone know the reason why they say to stay
a fist out from the center of the umbilicus? Is it because of nerves,
or because of vessels? I am a little nervous that I injected it into a
vessel and don't know what it will do to me.

6 lbs this week - 28 lbs total this year, 68lbs since 09/03. I was getting
discouraged. We have these hyper-accurate in-floor digital scales, so it's
right.

I have in my hands a new OneTouch Ultra II and Diabetes Management Software
Pro 3.1. My LifeScan rep dropped it off yesterday. Actually the first one
wouldn't work so I nabbed another out of the box she left and it seems to
work fine. One of the new features is a backlight.

I hhad always used my stomach area in the beginning untill I noticed that my
stomach would well or the med would lake too long to go into my system and I
sugar woud suddenly drop........I spoke to my doctor who suggested that I should
rotate my sites due to one site becoming resistant to the byetta.......I shot in
injection into my upper thigh and upper arms.......yes it does hurt a bit more
than the stomach region but my byetta works better now and I don't experience
the sudden drops I use too.......I gues each person has to do what works best
for them....
Rosy

BYETTA should be injected into your abdomen, thigh, or upper arm

******************************************************8
I usually inject the Byetta into my more than adequate belly and it works
well and is usually painless. One day I tried injecting into my thigh and
<!--more-->
WOW,
did that HURT! I was so surprised by the pain that I yanked the needle back
out by instinct and then redid the injection in my stomach. Now that is the
only place I use! Janet
