liquids
anyone else having trouble drinking? maybe not trouble per se but i am not
going through a pot of coffee a day or able to drink a whole can of diet
cherry coke anymore. seems like my liquid intake is way down! i’m trying to
drink more water too but can’t finish that either.

Jodi,
I have noticed the same problem initially but am kind of over it now. I LOVE
coffee and for awhile it just didn’t have the appeal that it once did. I
started Byetta in December 05 and have had different kinds of sensations when I
first started using it. I used to feel really cold after the injection and had
to wrap up in a blanket. Even after all of these months, I still feel kind of
sick with my evening injection but it passes pretty quickly. I was lucky, I
didn’t really get nauseated when I started, just slightly and then only for a
few days. Darla

I’ve noticed this as well, though I’m not especialy bothered by it. I used
to always automatically make a pot of (decaf) coffee every morning, now I
rarely do. I can still finish a diet soda if I start one, but I rarely do
(which is not a change for me, not a big soda drinker anyway). I do make a
pot of decaf coffee to drink at work in the evening and have no trouble
finishing that, but it’s a pretty deeply ingrained habit. Debbie

No problems with liquid intake at all, only solids or semi-solids like
milk/yogurt smoothies, etc.

i’m just worried i am not getting enough to keep hydrated. scale is now down
15 pounds since tuesday night. i’m thrilled and know it’s got to be mostly
water weight but still. 15 pounds in 4 days seems like a lot.
