Fwd: [Diabetes_And_Byetta] new to list and lizard spit

Welcome to the world of lizard spit!

I did not vomit, when put on the spit. I had a little nausea, some
people have a lot of nausea. When I got nausea I would take a pepcid.
It went away. Also, my doctor told me to eat half the amount of food.
I found that if I ate too much I would experience some nausea. It
actually makes sense, because the spit is suppose to slow down the
emptying of the stomach.

Hope you are feeling better.

Dale

    John,

I will change doctors, I’m humoring Peg, my PA, who I love — she’s been
frustrated that together we haven’t made progress on my disease, which is
entirely my fault. I’m moving forward now and will see this guy one more
time because I’ve agreed to, then I’m going back to Peg. Since Dr. G’s
already prescribed Byetta for me, I don’t think she will be uncomfortable
    with it.

I’ve perhaps been a bit unfair to Dr. G, though, he’s really a very nice
man, sort of like a cross between Santa Claus and Mr. French (for those old
enough to remember that old TV show — or who have seen it on late night
cable), and quite compassionate. He was very polite to me and very
professional. I don’t believe he was used to having a patient as well
informed as I was. Many, many patients love him, as do* all* of the

transcriptionists I work with because he is very thorough and does
communicate with his patients. We just were at cross purposes, and the
PharmD kind of stirred things up I think. We’ll part amicably. Soon.

    Debbie
