A marked increase in wind and stamina since getting on Byetta? I’m
back to being able to climb three flights of stairs and walk all the
way back to my apartment without a pause. I hadn’t been able to do
that in several years. I don’t know if it’s the byetta, or getting off
Actos, which seemed to do me more harm than good.

Also, I recently started taking a supplement called Neuro-PS, which is
supposedly a brain booster. I do seem to be a little sharper in some
ways since I started taking it. However, a while back I ran out and
didn’t take it for a while. When I started again my morning sugars
plumeted and I cut my Lantus dosage for the first time in quite a
while. I’m wondering if there’s a correlation. Anyone tried this
stuff?

I have noticed a bit more "spring" in my step since starting the Byetta two
weeks ago. I walk during my breaks at work with a group of coworkers; one
of them is a little speed demon, or so I thought, I was always huffing and
puffing when I walked with her. Lately I’m the one who has been been
setting the pace. Of course I have been walking more in general so it may
well just be that I’m finally getting in better shape, but the timing is
    interesting.

    Re: spring in our steps

My husband and I went to get some wood about a month ago. We have a wood
stove, not our sole source of heat, but we like to fire it up on really
cold mornings and when we get the rare snow storm. I noticed I was able
to carry the wood to the trailer, and even spent an hour using my
electric chain saw, and didn’t break a sweat. Before the spit, I would
have been huffing and puffing, but I felt exhilarated, like a runner’s high.
