I know how you feel. I gained weight on actos too.
The only thing I can think of is are you drinking diet sodas? Maybe
too much sodium.
I would see if you are retaining fluids, by using some natural
diuretic. Drinking water, change to crystal lite and tea is a natural
diuretic.

    I was upset when I went to the doctor a week ago, because I thought I
    should of lost weight on the 5 pen. He said I did not gain weight and
    that is a plus. He also told me most people see the weight loss when
    they are on the 10 pen. He also told me to wait 15 minutes and then
    eat. Good luck.
