Query:Must your stomach be completely empty?

Must you stomach be completely empty before injecting Byetta?
I have a terrible habit of nibbling while I cook, so I have to be really
conscious of this or else I find that I have had some salad or other goodies
while I’m cooking. How long do you wait after eating a snack before injecting?

I’ve been known to nibble, and I just take the spit anyway. I haven’t
noticed any problems with my readings or even with nausea.

Thank you for your response, because on those days that I did nibble, I would
not take the Byetta for fear of nausea or vomitting which I no longer
experience. So I will just go ahead and take it regardless of nibbling
    beforehand or not.
