<description>My PharmD asked the question and forwarded me the response:

The only trick is to give immediately with the meal or perhaps during the
meal until the nausea subsides. You can also try antiemetics but I realize
that is giving a drug to treat the side effect of another drug which is not
optimal. In most patients the nausea subsides but not in all. Good luck.

_____

She also told me that she spoke with the byetta representative
yesterday. The rep said that if you take your byetta and then eat
immediately after the nausea will be only a little. I eat immediately
after taking my byetta and I have very little, sometimes no nausea.
She told me she had a lizard pin on her jacket. lol.

<description>Dale, you should of asked her where she got her lizard pin! LOL

Jeanna

Hi,

I have just started a diabetic training class. My trainer told me
that if you can not afford the test strips, to contact the company
that
makes your machine. Ask them if they have a plan for you to
participate in. She said they are very helpful. She also said you
really do have to proved the hardship. They do want you to use their
machine. It is worth a phone call to those who really can not afford
to buy strips.
